Instructions:
First, sift the cornstarch into a saucepan and add the strained orange juice to remove any pulp. Stir well until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Next, add the sugar and mix again to combine all the ingredients. Then, place the saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously to prevent sticking or lumps.
Afterward, cook for about 25 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and reaches a firm consistency. Once done, lightly moisten a glass dish with water and pour the mixture into it. Smooth the surface with a spatula to ensure an even layer.
Finally, cover the dish with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap directly onto the surface of the mixture to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
To finish, remove the dessert from the dish and cut it into desired-sized pieces. Coat each piece with shredded coconut and serve.
